About

I was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, but, after a trip around the world, I've found my rhythm in Boulder, Colorado.

My writing combines my passion for athletics, communication, travel, and connecting with people. I started writing stories when I was 8 for my biggest fans and best critics—my parents. My writing has appeared in The New York Times, Glamour, Elle, ESPN, AARP, Huffington Post, Cowboys and Indians, Running Times, Triathlete Magazine, Competitor, and Women's Running among others.

In addition to freelance writing, I’m a university instructor for undergraduate and graduate students, a massage therapist, triathlon coach, and competitive athlete. I love eating peanut butter by the spoonful, traveling on a train through France, running trails in the mountains, and swapping stories with my grandmas.
